Incredibly strong in solid applications as the polypropylene gets embedded into the pores of the material. In hollow walls such as sheet rock, the anchor opens up not unlike an alligators jaw making these stronger than traditional plastic anchors that simply swell up when the screw is inserted. This 1/4 inch hole size anchor will accept screws from as small as #6 all the way up to #12. We recommend #8 screws in drywall and #10 screws in solid materials like concrete or brick.
